Glenn O. Maul
Mr. Maul is currently the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Brookdale Senior Living, the nations largest provider of senior housing, which employs over 31,500 associates, based in Chicago, IL. Prior to joining Brookdale Senior Living, Mr.Maul was Vice President, Human Resources for Field Operations for Sunrise Senior Living in McLean, VA. In that capacity, Mr. Maul oversaw all facets of HR for the field operations, over 40,000 employees. He was responsible for development of the people metrics used in the operational models, was instrumental in refinement of the performance management system, and headed up a team which was successful in defending the company against numerous union attempts in it's various locations.
Mr. Maul is a veteran of over 25 years in Human Resources. He began his career in accounting, and has spent time in an Operations Management capacity as well. He has worked for small, private companies, as well as Fortune 100 companies. He has been chief negotiator for companies in collective bargaining agreements with most major unions, has been the strategist in successful defense of companies against over 30 union organizing campaigns, and has extensive experience in mergers and aquisitions cultural assimilation. He has been a frequent guest speaker at Universities and various HR trade organizations, and recently spoke at the Gallup Organization's training University.
Mr. Maul holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and is SPHR certified.
