Linda Martin
Ms. Martin is the Co-founder and President of Signature Senior Living, LLC. (SSL), which was established in 2005. Ms. Martin has over 20 years of experience owning, operating and managing long-term care and human service organizations. She is a recognized leader in the operations of assisted living and senior care communities throughout the United States.
Prior to co-founding SSL, Ms. Martin was a Sr. Vice President and COO for Assisted Living Concepts (ALC), which operated 177 residences in 14 states. Ms. Martin joined ALC in 2002 and lead the operational turnaround of the company after it’s emergence from bankruptcy, until the eventual sale of the company in January 2005.
Prior to ALC, Ms. Martin served as VP of Operations for Alterra Healthcare Corporation. Alterra was one of the largest assisted living companies in the country, operating approximately 450 residences throughout the United States. She assembled an experienced management team and lead the financial and operational transformation of the assisted living residences in her charge.
Ms. Martin earned both her Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Wisconsin. She is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
